Ms. Anuradha Maharaj-Jagdip is a qualified hydrogeologist with over 7 years experience in the application hydrological modelling tools such as HEC-HMS, SWAT, MODFLOW, WEAP and QUAL2K. She holds a BSc.in Geography and Geology as well as an MPhil in Hydrogeology from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica. She also holds an MSc.in Water Engineering, Specialization Hydrology and Water Resources from the UNESCO-IHE, Delft, The Netherlands. Ms. Maharaj-Jagdip has investigated and assessed watersheds in several Caribbean islands. As her MSc. project, she conducted water availability assessments for the Hailiutu catchment, China. She presently works at the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association as the Operations Officer – Water and Sanitation. Her areas of research and development focus are IWRM, water availability assessments, and the use of hydrological models for water quantity & quality assessments to drive evidence based decision-making.
