Ms. Jamila Lewis is a highly accomplished communications professional with over 22 years of distinguished service at the National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA). Throughout her tenure, she has held progressively senior roles, including Assistant Public Relations Officer, Public Relations Officer, Communications Supervisor, and currently serves as Assistant Manager, Communications. Her career reflects a proven track record of leadership, strategic vision, and excellence in corporate communications within the water sector.

She has led the design, implementation, and evaluation of major communication and public education campaigns and has represented NAWASA at both national and regional levels, including through CAWASA and CWWA. Ms. Lewis brings extensive expertise in stakeholder and donor engagement, crisis communication, brand management, and the development of impactful public relations strategies.

Ms. Lewis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with Distinction from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland. She has also completed advanced training in Strategic Leadership, Digital Media Management, Project Management, and E-Governance. Additionally, she holds an executive certificate in International Business and Management, along with certifications in Events Planning and Promotion and Supervisory Management.
