Commencing early June 2022, you will support our Water Service Strategy team in a number of areas helping us to deliver an excellent service to our customers.
You will gain valuable experience of how we manage a variety of water supply assets. As part of your Internship, you will mainly focus on:
Dams – updating our information management systems, promotion of capital work and continual improvement initiatives. There will be the opportunity to visit dams with our Supervising Engineers Strategy & Resources – working with our water strategy and resources team to develop our investment and asset management plans Risk – Spatial and Network analysis for risk assessment and system planning in ARC GIS and using supporting tools You will be studying towards a degree in Civil Engineering, Process Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Science, GIS Systems or a related discipline and share our passion for delivering great customer service.
To be eligible to apply for this internship programme you will be a penultimate year student (for example in your third year of a four year course, or in your fourth year but going on to study a Masters Degree).
We would especially encourage those studying towards an MEng to apply.
You need to be available for the 12 week duration of the programme and on course to achieve at least a 2:2 degree.
