This annual competition is held in collaboration with Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and The Inter – America Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering (AIDIS). The theme of the 14th Annual IAWD Competition was “Water and Culture”. The competition had a wide range of categories, namely:
Essay Competition in two age groups where the participants wrote on
- Down by the river
- At the beach
- “Towns, cities and civilizations – Water, the common factor.”
Poster Competition theme “Water and Culture” and the age groups were:
1. 10 to13
2. 14 to 16
The final category was a Calypso or Rapso under the theme “ Water and Culture” and the age group was 11 to 17.
