The Position
As a company- we signed the UN CEO Water Mandate contributing to relieving water stress in the world. Since we signed up- we have assessed our sites for water stress and started our first water stewardship activities in Neropolis Brazil. Based on this experience we have now built a water stewardship program. This multidisciplinary program offers a wonderful opportunity for an intern to help us with water expertise and for him/her to see the importance of water management for an international food production company. You will be reporting to the Head of Environment & Sustainability- International.
Tasks throughout the role can include:
Develop water footprints for our sites in water risk areas (including our water use throughout the supply chain) Develop a model for calculating our net water consumption (the water we take out of the
watershed) Watershed studies for our main water risk sites; understanding the boundaries of our water basin (and the theory to support this study) Overall support of the water stewardship program.
Qualifications:
Job requirements:
You are enrolled at a European university for at least 50% of the duration of the internship.
You are at the end of your bachelor- or in your master’s degree:
Engineering / Supply Chain / Geoscience / Econometrics- or other related fields.
You have good knowledge of the English language- both written and spoken.
NOTE: EU working rights are required! (Either you have EU Citizenship or you are studying in the Netherlands).
