Sherry Dumas-Harewood - CWWA President (2006 -2008); Trustee
Sherry Dumas-Harewood is a Project Manager with over ten (10) years experience in institutional development. She has focused on improving project management maturity, strategic planning techniques and portfolio management in organisations. Over the years she has held the positions of Senior Manager – Strategic Planning & Change Management, Chief Project Manager – Repair & Maintenance, President – Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) and a Board member at Global Water Partnership and UWI Credit Union. At each institution she has led teams to implement strategic initiatives which positively impacts the organizations’ performance. Specifically, she led portfolio planning at the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA); school repair programme in Trinidad; established a regional secretariat for CWWA; and established First Youth Credit Union in the hemisphere. She is the holder of MSc. (Distinction) in Project Management, First Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and in Leading Organisation Change.
