Student/Research Assistant (Climate Diplomacy Team)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a student assistant for our international and diverse Climate Policy Team. The position is based in Trinidad and Tobago but working remotely (in a similar time zone) is also possible.  In this role you will be supporting the project implementation of the Climate Governance Initiative for the Caribbean (Open Society Foundations) at Climate Analytics Caribbean through conducting preliminary research and making recommendations for report preparation as well as project activities.

Your Responsibilities

Conduct research focused on climate change legislation, models and renewable energy as well as climate justice and equity and other areas as required Identify key issues to be taken into account for the preparation of

climate legislation Contribute to the reports published in the framework of the project by preparing preliminary drafts of reports Assist with the organisation of project activities e.g. webinars and workshops Support in organizing meetings and notes taking.
