Kimberly Lawrence- Civil & Environmental Engineer
Kimberly Lawrence is a consulting civil and environmental engineer based in Dominica. She has a decade of water and wastewater infrastructure experience across the US and the Caribbean. She holds an MSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a BSc in Chemistry with Mathematics from the University of the West Indies. Her skills span hydraulic modelling (WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, InfoWater), ArcGIS, Python, and the full project cycle - from design and technical assessments to specifications and regulatory compliance. She is immediate past Vice Chair of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) national Water Treatment Facilities Design and Construction Committee and a contributor to regional dialogue on emerging technologies. She is passionate about expanding access to clean water and sanitation, supporting Caribbean infrastructure development, and harnessing emerging technologies responsibly in the water sector. Outside engineering, she enjoys hiking and nature.

Samuel Davis- Environmental Officer
Samuel Davis is an Environmental Officer at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Guyana, where he contributes to water quality monitoring, field investigations, environmental compliance, and technical reporting. He helps manage environmental data and supports the operation of real-time water quality monitoring systems that inform evidence-based environmental management.
Samuel holds an Associate Degree in Chemistry and is pursuing a BSc in Environmental Studies at the University of Guyana, where he is a Dean’s List student. He is also a UNITAR-trained Global Harmonization Systems (GHS) Ambassador. His interests include water quality, hydrology, climate resilience, and using scientific data to strengthen environmental decision-making across the Caribbean.
Beyond his technical work, Samuel is a church youth leader and serves as a Faculty Representative within the University of Guyana Students’ Society. A former Youth Parliamentarian (2025), he is committed to youth leadership and aims to become a prominent leader in the water resources sector.
